This podcast is about empowering you all in our unique version of astrology, called Egyptian Shamanic Astronomy.  This phrase more accurately than the word “astrology” identifies how the Blacks of Egypt and our temple relate to the sky.

Spirituality is based upon consciousness observing energy/matter.  Energy/matter moves in predictable ways, i.e., according to LAWS/FORMULAS.  So, if we define your Spirit as energy/matter, then your Spirit must operate according to scientific formulas and laws.  And it does.

 

In our system, Nuut, the Sky Goddess, is a metaphor for Egyptian Shamanic Astronomy–the spiritual implication of the laws and formulas of astrophysics.  Egyptian Shamanic Astronomy reveals how astrodynamics affects your subconscious mind–your psychology, Spirit, and moods.

The last link is to Stellarium, a brilliant, free astronomy program.  If you already have Stellarium, go to the website anyway, and download its latest version.  Stellarium is constantly updating its versions, so it is a smart idea to check in at the website to make sure that you have the latest version.  http://www.stellarium.org/

Before you come to the workshop, go to a site like Ancestry.com and fill out the questionnaire.  Amass as many birth dates as you can from all of your people, as far back as you can go.  Be sure to note any recent birth dates of newborns in the family.  Go a “fact finding mission”, asking the older folks of your people about the life history, ups, and downs of as many uncles, aunties, cousins, etc., as you can.  What will happen is that you will begin to see a pattern emerge spontaneously, a fractal.  This is YOUR Shepsu fractal, the pattern of your roots.

This podcast is about a rare astronomical event–Tihuti Ap Sheta Taui (Jupiter) and Bes conjuncting the Great Sphinx (the equinox point).  The last time this occurred was in 1927 and the next time will be in 2093.  So fractally, 1927 is self-similar to 2010, which are both self-similar to 2093.  These dates are, therefore, thematically linked. 

 

So what happened in 1927 that is relevant to what the High Oracle said about today’s 2010 conjunction?  1927 saw an unprecedented and immense surge of Gay culture in what has come to be called the Pansy Craze of NYC.  Here the Village, Broadway, and Black Harlem saw an astounding increase in Gay visibility, culture, art, and self-expression.  Mysteriously, the Oracle said this theme is iterating now in 2010 in a similar but slightly different way.

So go out and enjoy the night sky, look up in life, and remember, you and the cosmos are truly one, self-similar fractals within fractals.

 

*P.S., this month, all the 7 major planets, i.e., the planetary Gods, will be visible.  There is a great gathering and parade of the sky Gods, so be sure to go out and imagine celebrating with them as you lay beneath the starry heavens as did the shamanic astronomers of yesteryear did.  The planet Gods (Lords of your karma) will see you now in their heavenly court, listening closely to your prayers for good karmas from the things they own in your chart and your humble offerings to them.
